CONTROL YOUR NARRATIVE is an independent wrestling movement founded by EC3, former WWE and All Elite Wrestling performer.
The project challenged traditional wrestling storytelling by placing identity, control, and narrative ownership back into the hands of the performers.
VIDD Media partnered with the CONTROL YOUR NARRATIVE movement to help shape its visual language, character presentation, and promotional direction. Our role extended beyond production, guiding how wrestlers presented themselves within a larger mythos and how the story translated visually across live events, media, and campaign imagery.
WORK DETAILS:
• Creative Direction: Helped define the visual and tonal direction of CONTROL YOUR NARRATIVE, ensuring every asset reinforced the themes of control, identity, and reinvention.
• Brand & Image Consulting: Worked directly with talent to refine character presentation and on camera presence for narrative driven projects and promotional moments.
• Photography: Captured cinematic stills used for promotion, press, and storytelling including work with Matt Cardona and other high profile wrestlers involved in the movement.
• Videography: Supported narrative focused video content that emphasized atmosphere, intensity, and character driven storytelling over traditional wrestling promotion.
• Social Media Strategy & Growth: Worked directly with EC3 to shape posting strategy, platform positioning, and content direction to support audience growth and consistent brand presence.
• Brand Partnerships: Advised on partnership alignment and brand opportunities that fit the CONTROL YOUR NARRATIVE ethos without compromising creative independence.
• Promotion Guidance: Provided direction on how to visually and strategically promote an independent wrestling brand outside legacy systems while maintaining a premium, cinematic feel.
